Development of Synthetic Route for Fe-substituted MWW-type Zeolites Using Mechanochemical Method

Fe-substituted MWW-type zeolites ([Fe]-MWWMC) were successfully synthesized by a mechanochemically assisted hydrothermal synthesis, termed the mechanochemical method, for first time and compared with samples prepared conventional method ([Fe]-MWWHT). A reaction between SiO2 ?-FeOOH, which is step of yielded an amorphous Si–Fe composite oxide that consisted tetrahedrally coordinated Fe species in network, as confirmed X-ray diffraction, UV-vis Fourier transform infrared spectroscopies. treatment crystallization zeolite using thus-prepared precursor second led to formation [Fe]-MWWMC well-introduced dispersed their framework. The improved homogeneity resulted less extra-framework [Fe]-MWWHT. was thus efficient route synthesis metallosilicates heteroatoms

A practical synthetic route to enantiopure 5-substituted cis-decahydroquinolines has been developed, the key steps being a stereoselective cyclocondensation of 2-substituted 6-oxocyclohexenepropionates 2 with (R)-phenylglycinol, the stereoselective hydrogenation of the resulting unsaturated tricyclic lactams, and the stereoselective reductive cleavage of the oxazolidine ring.
